Complete Tongba Brewing Set

The complete Tongba ritual in one box: a Tongba DIY Kit to brew with, and the traditional aluminum Tongba vessel to drink from.

What's in the box

• 1 Tongba DIY Kit, your choice of starter: Murcha Style, the traditional choice, tangy and full of heritage flavor, or Easy Everest Edition, clean, crisp, and smooth.
• Inside the kit: 2 lbs red finger millet (uncooked), yeast starter 1.6 oz (45 g), 1 traditional aluminum straw (Pipsing), 1 reusable organic cotton bag (14 x 12 in) for fermenting and straining, and step by step guidance.
• 1 Tongba Set (1000 ml), your choice of edition: Local, or My Precious with a polished finish. Traditional aluminum vessel with Pipsing straw.

How it works

Cook the millet, mix in the starter, and let it ferment. Pack the fermented millet into the vessel, pour hot water over it, wait a few minutes, and sip through the Pipsing. Top up with hot water and repeat, 3 to 5 rounds from a single batch.
